Painting contractors can choose to undergo assessment for the Resene Eco.Decorator programme, which includes assessments of principles in practice, sustainable work practices, waste management, project plans and project sign off processes. Only contractors who successfully meet these standards can promote themselves as an authentic Resene Eco.Decorator.

• Environmentally friendly products

  We use high-quality eco-friendly paints whenever possible, making sure contents contain low or no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Which meet Green Star NZ VOC requirements (under section IEQ13) and the environmental credential requirements under section MAT10. Site and equipment clean up including recycling waste products are dealt with in keeping within the Eco standards.

It is therefore my mandate to conduct our company in a manner that reflects our concern for the environment, and utilize the products and resources available to maintain a low-impact, environmentally friendly and sustainable business.

  Picking out wallpaper is more than just colour and print. Always read the label carefully to determine the wallpaper material.
  
  The following is a list of terms to look for on a manufacturer's label. These terms will help you narrow down the vast selection available.

  Is the wallpaper:

  • Stain-resistant and hard wearing.
  • Can it be scrubed.
  • Moisture-resistant? Good for bathrooms or those south side rooms.

  ®   Pigment sealer applied to all walls prior to sizing and hanging any wallpaper.
